Our Story
Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC (KFR) — pronounced KAY-FAR — is a veteran-, Black-, and woman-owned, owner-operated boutique medical housing provider serving Colorado’s hospital community.
We intentionally operate small.
With four carefully managed homes, we provide stable, fully furnished residences for patients, caregivers, and families navigating medical transition. Our size allows us to coordinate placements directly, prioritize fit, and remain personally accountable to every stay.
We believe recovery requires more than discharge — it requires environment.
Each KFR home is prepared with clinical awareness and practical simplicity: comfortable bedrooms, private laundry, full kitchens, reliable utilities, and layouts designed for dignity and safety. Functional over luxury. Stability over scale.
We prioritize hospital-referred guests — including case managers, discharge planners, and social-work teams — who trust us to support families between hospital and home. Our intake is personal and structured, because the right placement protects everyone.
Our Kenyan-inspired spaces reflect warmth, cultural hospitality, and gratitude — quiet places where families can breathe, rest, and rebuild strength.
“Each home is prepared with care and gratitude — a quiet reflection of service through hospitality.” — Anna Kakai, Founder
Our Cause — The Healing Stays Program
The Healing Stays Program extends our mission beyond housing.
Through a portion of paid stays and community partnerships, we donate short-term residencies to families who need rest, privacy, and compassion during treatment or recovery.
This initiative exists because healing is not only clinical — it is emotional, environmental, and deeply human.
“I believe healing is not just medical — it’s emotional, spiritual, and environmental. Through this program, I share that peace with those who need it most — one family at a time.” — Anna Kakai, Founder
Our Programs
Kenyan Furnished Rentals unites three connected initiatives — all serving one purpose: to help families heal with dignity, stability, and informed transition planning.
Together, these programs form a simple, sustainable circle of service — where every booking supports stability, and every stay strengthens the next family’s path forward.
