The hospital parking garage already drained the last bit of emotional energy my patient and loved one too, had left.
We finally pull into the neighborhood exhausted after another full day of treatment updates, pharmacy runs, discharge paperwork, specialist calls. Am trying to hold myself together for my loved one.
