Kenyan Furnished Rentals (KFR) is an intentionally small, owner-operated provider of restorative extended-stay housing serving Denver Metro Colorado.
Our furnished 30+ night residences are designed primarily for patients in medical transition, caregivers, clinical professionals, and carefully screened quiet relocators seeking a stable, low-stimulus residential environment during extended stays. Tucked into a quiet Lakewood cul-de-sac, this upper-level suite provides the natural light and residential silence necessary for high-stakes recovery and night-shift sleep. The suite is great for residential stability required during treatment, recovery, or high-intensity clinical assignments. These residences operate as quiet multifamily communities designed for restorative living and are not intended to function as traditional vacation rentals.
Because every recovery journey is unique, we do not evaluate, recommend, or guarantee suitability for any specific medical condition, mobility limitation, or recovery plan. Guests are responsible for carefully reviewing all listing photos, layouts, bed heights, bathroom configurations, stair access, and amenities to determine whether a residence meets their individual needs and physician recommendations.
Please Note:
- Beds may be higher than standard residential bed heights.
- Most residences feature traditional tub/shower combinations rather than walk-in showers.
- Suite 35B is the only residence with a walk-in shower.
- Children and visitors are welcome but must respect neighboring residents by remaining within shared spaces and avoiding neighboring private porches, patios, and residential areas.

We do not provide vacation lodging. Our mission-based pricing is reserved for patients and caregivers in active medical treatment. This residence is not suitable for home-buying transitions, or open-ended housing needs.

We operate using a structured intake and verification process for medically stable transitions, often coordinating with:

- Case Managers
- Social Workers
- Hospital Systems
- Families traveling for treatment may also initiate placement requests directly. We also support families relocating for active, time-bound medical treatment or clinical assignments.
Medical guests may be asked to provide confirmation of a medical appointment or treatment-related travel purpose prior to reservation approval.
All placements require screening and coordinated intake.
To preserve availability for medically aligned placements, inquiries must be finalized promptly. We do not hold dates pending incomplete screening, delayed communication, or unverified travel purpose.

To maintain availability for medical residents and quiet, professionally aligned relocation and assignment-based housing needs compatible with our restorative environment, our homes (fully furnished, all-inclusive residences) are reserved for time-bound medical stays (30+ nights) and are not available for vacation travel or open-ended long-term housing.

Subtle details, including a small Kenyan flag within each space, reinforce this foundation.

- Private In-Unit Laundry: Dedicated washer/dryer to reduce infection risk and allow caregivers to manage laundry on their own schedule.

MEDICAL TRANSITION SUPPORT: Reduced medical-transition rates may be available for qualifying extended-stay patients and caregivers depending on timing, availability, and stay structure. VERIFICATION & BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
To help preserve a stable restorative environment for all residents:
- Accidental Damage Protection: $65 (non-refundable, per month - already included in pricing)
- Incidental Hold: $500 standard – authorization only
- Traveler’s Insurance: Required
- Government-issued ID required for all adult residents
- Signed Residency Agreement required prior to access
All documentation and protection requirements must be completed within 24 hours of booking. Access is not granted until finalized.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $200.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Enjoy some quiet sleep in our Themed Bedrooms with blackout curtains. Twiga Room is the Front bedroom with beautiful Kenyan Artwork of the Giraffe. Did you know that Giraffes are the tallest mammal in the world? They can grow up to 5.5 meters. Even new-born giraffes are taller than most humans. Giraffes can also stand half an hour after being born and they even sleep and give birth standing up! Simba Room is the Back bedroom with beautiful Kenyan Artwork of the famous scene from the lion King on one of the accent pillows and a beautiful painting of the African Lion. Did you know that lions are the only cats that live in groups? Cats tend to like to hang out on their own, but not these cats. Also, the female lions are the main hunters. While they are out looking for food, the males guard the pride’s territory and their young.
